Assessment of Farm Accountancy Data Network System in Croatia

Croatia is the newest member of EU Farm Accountancy Data Network (FADN). So far, no comprehensive evaluation national FADN system has been conducted, and this study based on a survey staff involved desktop analysis was conducted to fill gap. The three main elements Croatian are National Committee, Ministry Agriculture as Liaison Agency (LA) Bureau for statistics. All activities carried out by LA burden data collection lies with collectors farms. operates in accordance relevant legislation currently its objective appears be fulfilment obligations network. Other benefits like CAP measures etc. not yet exploited. challenges further development quality assurance systems, motivation farms participate, increased use data, expected changes transformation into sustainability network (FSDN). will successfully meet these if it strengthens capacity research establishes an effective system.
